Øst for Paradis is an art cinema in the Danish city of Aarhus mainly focusing on the 40+ audience or very specialised film enthusiasts Aarhus is a university city and there already is an interest in film among the younger audience. Øst for Paradis wants to attract this group of people.
By creating a series of one-day festivals with a thematic expression we'll generate a community that revolves around the joy of films, events, bar life and music. In that way we've moved away from the traditional cinema experience and become an event you just don't want to miss.
